Owl Readers Club supports Readable SG
It's not every day that one can find a social cause that is aligned with our values and mission.
When we chanced upon the Straits Times article on ReadAble (click here to read about it), we knew we had to meet with the founders and find out more.
Meet we did and as they say, the rest is history!
ReadAble was formed by a community of passionate individuals who believe that literacy is the way to beating poverty, by helping every child to be literate for life, one child at a time.
Owl Readers Club being a brand of Raising Readers Pte Ltd strongly believes that reading is the key to knowledge and the best way to nurture readers would be from the laps of their parents, as young as possible.
The first step of our collaboration would be to encourage members of Owl Readers Club to donate pre loved children books (suitable for aged 7 and below) to ReadAble at their operating premises located at Catch+ Centre (Block 10 Jalan Kukoh, Level 4) from Mondays to Fridays between 1 pm to 10 pm and Saturdays between 9 am to 6 pm. Please place books in a bag marked or labelled with "ReadAble".
Members of Owl Readers Club would also be rewarded with points for their kind donation by following the steps below:
1. Download "Owl Readers Club" mobile app from either Play Store or App Store.
2. Log in to your account and post the books that you wish to donate under our Exchange tab*
3. Take a screen shot when you are at ReadAble with the books that you are donating and send us the picture to our Whatsapp (9725 6862)
4. Upon receipt of the pictures and verifying against the books have been posted on exchange, we will reward each member with 250 points (500 points if you are an Owl Star Member) for every 5 books that are donated. Points awarded for each member will be capped at 1000 points. No cap for Owl Star Members!
2. Log in to your account and post the books that you wish to donate under our Exchange tab*

4. As the donated books will be used by ReadAble for their library and reading sessions, we strongly urge members to donate only books that are in good and readable condition.
* Kindly note that books posted on Exchange in Owl Readers Club app may also be subject to enquiries from other members who are keen to exchange the books with their own. Owl Star Members are also awarded points for leaving a feedback for each book exchanged.
