You’d think that Shervin would be sick of writing since his day job as a copywriter requires him to write all day long. But when inspiration called, he just had to answer. His first book was inspired by his own daily quest to wake his oldest kid up on a school day.

The frustration led to the creation of the Wakersaur – a creature that’s uniquely equipped to wake sleepyheads up in the morning. A few years later, while revisiting the Star Wars universe with his kids, it occurred to him that fact is stranger than fiction and it led to his second book, Twinkle Twinkle Giant Star. Written in rhyme (which you can rap to), this book introduces children to some of the strange-but-true facts about our universe that’s also easy to understand.
